Cheap Printer ink cartridges can be hard to find in Ireland - but they can be found. You can save hundreds of euros if you are a heavy user of your printer by buying from a discount supplier instead of the usual high street chains or superstores.
A cheap printer could turn out to be a costly buy due to the cost of replacing the ink cartridge, The price of inkjet printers has come down to as little as €45 but it could cost up to €2,200 in running costs over an 18-month period. I have used cheaper cartridges - and found the print quality to be fairly good all round compared to the branded ones. Definitely not worth paying double for a slight increase in quality.


At the moment in Ireland the Ink Club are offering free ink for your printer on certain brands - with your first order - all you have to pay is the postage charge - which isn't too high. They also stock photo quality paper. Worth at least one order.

Viking Direct are based in Ireland and offer free delivery on orders over €60 euro. You might want to order a few cartridges at the same time for yourself or your friends. They stock all the major manufacturers Epson , Citizen, Star, OKI, brother, HP. Viking also offer compatible cartidges - that can fit in the brand name printers but are much cheaper.
