With all the financial companies and multinational companies based in Ireland - and all the property transcations taking place - the legal profession is keeping very busy - and has plenty of job vacancies especially in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.

Recent legal vacancies advertised in Ireland in early 2006 included a conveyancing lawyer with a salary of around €50k to €60k while a legal secretary was offered €45k in Dublin.
A construction lawyer vacancy was advertised with a €100k per year salary and banking lawyers and inslovency lawyers for around €50 to €70k. Of course al salaries depend on experience - a newly qualified lawyer would expect a salary from €32 to €49k whilst a lawyer with 3-5 yrs experience could expect €55 to €70k annually.
