are another brilliant Sligo based Traditional group - one of the
best.
Sean
Tyrrell is a fine singer and songwriter with a unique voice
and style.
Danu
are a brilliant traditional group from Waterford. Absolutely fantastic.One
of their finest albums is Road

The Pogues bought irish music to the masses in the UK and

Undertones
A brilliant band from Derry who were big in the late 70's
and are still doing the odd gig now and then. This official website
has loads of info about the band.
Stiff Little Fingers
This late 70's Belfast "Punk" band are still
doing the odd tour - with a different line up now though.
Ash
from Downpatrick - great band who take the best of the Undertones and
the Ramones and add a touch of Irish glam. Up to date news on this the

Dexys Midnight
Runners Led by Kevin Rowland - a man proud of his Irish
roots. Rumours of a comeback in 2003

Mondogs This Derry band had their own chidrens TV series
