The Conway Sisters
are from a place called Cregg in Rosses Point near Sligo in Ireland.
In 2004 they
were a trio and played support to Westlife in their Sligo concert - the
first outdoor concert for Sinead, Marie and Laura Conway. They then played
the Rosses Point Mackerel Festival, as part of the Sligo Rocks Festival
and they released their debut single "What would you do" on
August 7 2003 - (Ireland Only) .
The Sisters also sang
at Shane from Westlife's wedding and provided support for Westlife at
their series of Belfast concerts in 2004
The Conway Sisters second single in Ireland was “Now That It’s Over” -
Marie, Laura and Sinead now joined by Sharon.The girls released their
new song on April 8 2004 and they toured Ireland promoting the song in
record stores all over the country Both singles were written and composed
by the girls, who have written most of the material for their debut album.
The girls have recorded an abum called Waiting For You - with renowned
British producer Simon Hill at his studio in London.
