There are
several kinds of Window blinds available - the three most common types
of blind are :
Venetian blinds, are slatted blinds made of metal or plastic; wooden
slats are sometimes used but these are usually referred to as wooden blinds.
Venetian blinds look good in any room - bedrooms or living rooms especially.
They can gather dust and are tricky to clean though. They come in a wide
range of colours to match any room decor.
Vertical
blinds, or track blinds, consist of slats of stiffened fabric, plastic,
or metal hanging by one end from a track; like the horizontal versions,
the slats can be rotated 90 degrees to allow light to pass through or
to fold up on one side of a door or window. Vertical blinds are great
for patio doors. Ideal to use to get privacy whilst allowing light in.
Much nicer than the old fashioned net curtains. These blinds can be combined
with curtains.
Roller
blinds, which are pull-down rolling window blinds. These are easy
for DIY fitting and are ideal in bathrooms and kitchens. You can get waterproof
material - ideal for those rooms.
